June 1st - Spokane

On our drive back from the cabin, we stopped in Spokane because Dan had fond memories of their Marygoround.
We stopped by to get some sushi to cleanse the grease off of our organs. And drove through the main road in Spokane where the gigantic signs stood proudly. SO proudly in fact, that they stood a few metres away from the actual buildings they were there to identify.
Here are some photos of the peculiar fair they have in Spokane.
These rides are there permanently.

Then we walked over to the bridge to see their big river gushing down right underneath us.

After a short walk around town, and taking some amusing photos, we started to head back to the car before we spotted a gift shop called "Boo Radley's".
Boo Radley's is stocked up on toys, gifts, books, and vintage items. All of which would add to your entertainment value. We bought a coin jar of Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a tin of Slimer lollies and my Big Foot tshirt from the shop.

The scenery on our ride back was as per usual beautiful. Even if it looked like the storm was chasing us.

We were almost home. But first thing's first. Dinner at Carl's Jr.

We concluded our trip with top quality Mexican music from the radio, and the beautiful rainbow - all 30% of it. It was a great weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
